7 Facts of Redemption

#1 Jesus Became Sin, You Became Righteous

1 Peter 2:4 – Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isaiah 53:5-6 – But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our pease was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

2 Corinthians 5:21 – For he hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

* As your substitute, Jesus took all your sin, paid the price for it, and in exchange gave you His righteousness.
* In Jesus you are as righteous as you will ever be.

#2 The Holy Spirit Lives in You

Acts 2:38-39 – Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God will call.

John 14:16-17, 26 – Jesus prayed that the Father would send you a Helper to abide with you forever; the Spirit of Truth to dwell and be in you. The Helper is the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:9-14 – The word tells us that the Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, if you are Christ’s.

* When you receive Jesus as your Lord, The Holy Spirit takes up residence in you.

#3 You Have Eternal Life

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Romans 6:23 – The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.

* Eternal life is different from eternal existence. You will exist with your lord for eternity.
The only question is, who is your Lord?

John 10:10 – Jesus came to give you life, life more abundantly.

1 John 5:12 – He that hath the Son hath life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

#4 Divine Health

Exodus 15:26 – …for I Am the Lord who heals you.

Exodus 23:25 – You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst.

1 Peter 2:24 – Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sin should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isaiah 53:4 – Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

* The word “griefs” is also translated “sickness,” and the word “sorrows” is also translated “pain.” Jesus took sickness and disease from you by taking them on Himself in the stripes He bore.

#5 Prosperity and Wealth

Psalm 35:27 – …Let that Lord be magnified Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servants.

Psalms 37:25 – I have been young and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, not His seed begging bread.

Matthew 6:33 – Seek ye first that Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.

2 Corinthians 8:9 – For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might be rich.

* Note the context of the chapter is money.

3 John 2 – Beloved I wish above all things that thou prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospers.

* The Word makes it very clear, God wants His children to prosper financially as well as physically. God wants you blessed in every area of your life.

#6 Authority Over All Demons

Luke 10:19 – Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Mark 16:15-20 – …Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up (cast off) serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

James 4:7 – Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

#7 The Right To Pray and Receive an Answer

John 14:13-14 – And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that The Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Mark 11:24 – Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.

Matthew 7:7-11 – Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for everyone that asks receiveth; and he that seeks findeth and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?
